JOHNNY STAATS & THE DELIVERY BOYS
Johnny Staats is simply an amazing musician. Best known for his virtuosic mandolin playing, he is also a great fiddler, and guitarist.
He’ll be playing with his band, the Delivery Boys. Johnny will be featured on mandolin, with Butch Osborne on banjo, Ray Cossin on fiddle, Doug Cossin on guitar, and David Vaughn on bass. Get ready to hear some first-rate bluegrass music!
-
THE ALUM RIDGE BOYS & ASHLEE
The Alum Ridge Boys & Ashlee hail from southwest Virginia. The band features Andrew Small on mandolin and Ashlee Watkins on guitar, accompanied by a talented band.
They combine great musicianship with outstanding harmony singing. Influenced by bluegrass, early country music, and traditional mountain music, they produce a wonderful sound that is all their own.
-
THE MODOCK ROUNDERS
The Modock Rounders feature WV musicians Kim Johnson, Cody Jordan, and Jesse Pearson.
Kim is well-known in the old-time community as a stellar banjo picker. In her younger days, she regularly accompanied such legendary fiddlers as Wilson Douglas, Lester McCumbers, and Frank George.
She is passing on the traditional tunes she learned to another generation by way of talented multi-instrumentalists, Cody and Jesse, and we get to enjoy their new takes on old tunes.
